Day 1 : Bangalore to Wayanad (282 km | approx. 5.5 hours)
Wayanad is an abundance of picturesque views. On this day, a car (which you can use for sightseeing) will pick you up from a pre-informed location in Bangalore and will drive you to your hotel in Wayanad. Once you have checked-in, spend the day at leisure. Later, return to your hotel for a comfortable stay. Suggested: In the afternoon, you can visit the Soochipara Falls, a three-tired waterfall, popular with rock climbers and picnickers. You can spend your afternoon at this mesmerising place and relax as you watch the water cascade down with force. Alternatively, you can visit Kuruva Dweep, an island surrounded by lush green forests. The island is known for its quiet ambience, and you can spend a relaxing afternoon here if you wish to escape the crowds. (Please note, suggested activities are not included in the package.)
Day 2 : Bamboo Craft Workshop
On this day, wake up to a delicious breakfast in the hotel and get ready for your bamboo craft workshop. Later, return to your hotel for a comfortable stay. Activity: In the morning, you will be taken to the site of the activity. Once you are there, you will be taken on a tour of a bamboo workshop, so that you can interact with the local craftsmen, and understand the process of farming and processing of bamboos so as to create marvellous crafts out of them. The workshop will serve as a learning experience, and you will even get a chance to be park of the process. After the activity ends, you will be driven back to your hotel. (Please note, that this activity is included in your package. However, you can replace or remove it by customising your package.
Day 3 : Wayanad to Bangalore (282 km | approx. 5.5 hours)
On this day, check-out from your hotel, and spend the day at leisure. Later, you will be driven from your hotel in the car provided to your pre-informed drop location in Bangalore. Suggested: In the morning you can head out to see the pre-historic Edakkal Caves. In order to reach the caves and explore them, you need to trek for about an hour. The site of the caves also offers activities like pedal boating and kayaking. Alternatively, you can visit the beautiful Pookat Lake, a natural fresh-water lake, known for its resort which houses an aquarium and greenhouse. Boating and kayaking are activities offered here as well. (Please note, suggested activities are not included in the package.)
Cancellation stage: 36 days or more before departure. 80% of the package cost will be refunded upon cancellation done 36 days or more, before departure, if you have made full payment for the package. If not, then after deducting 20% of the package cost from the amount you have paid, the balance will be refunded. Cancellation stage: 21 to 35 days before departure. 50% of the package cost will be refunded upon cancellation done 21 to 35 days before departure, if you have made full payment for the package. If not, then after deducting 50% of the package cost from the amount you have paid, the balance will be refunded. Cancellation stage: 20 days or less before departure. No refund will be provided upon cancellation done within 20 days before departure.
